Hey great another meet for us yorkshire folk, may have to pop down money depending.

Some of you may also want to check out our regular meet NICN at brighouse https://www.fiatforum.com/events/248307-nicn-northern-italian-car-night-september.html

Hey, yea i was aware of these but didnt know when the next meet was!, i may just pop down. What do you guys get up to? Its also a quite a way for me to go on a weeknight which is why i set this meet up which is more north/east yorkshire :)

hey, we normally meet up have a gander, prod and poke at all the fine italian metal, and good old chinwag, then head on off to the pub for a meal.

Well i drove from pickering to Castle Howard via the back roads. Especialy round Castle Howard there are some great views!

BTW Andy if your car aint ready you can catch a lift with me if you want.

PS Blu are you gunna be coming to the meet?

I also found a nice looking place:

Though it only looks like its open from 5pm onwards. would this be ok? we could find a pub in the mean time.

Sounds good. Mines lowered and I was ok there a while ago. Don't trust google street view! Had you been up there then free? Some unbelievable roads round there. Just a shame I do 100+ miles round there in the van :( There is some insane bridges around there aswell. Loads of marks where people have bottomed out!

Deff's any Fiat!

just to throw another idea in the mix - Nags Head in Askam Byran. Its got parking at front and carpark at rear, beer garden etc. Real friendly little pub

real easy to find and no bumps anywhere near it ;)

Sounds good. I mentioned it as the meeting location because its a good drive up there...then we can say food at 3/4 or something?

My car is of the road atm. AA came out last night and tested the battery :dead: But all will be fine as long as the brief power steering warning message was nothing

hi all

Any fiat/alfa/lancia are all welcome too come!!
more the better in my opinion!

Any how with my local knoledge i recommend either

1 the crown&cushion pub in welburn (expensive for both food and drink) 2 miles from the lake:mad::idea:
2 the queens head cantonise in amotherby (nice food but priced to match) 5 miles from the lake:confused:
OR
3 if all else fails the denison arms pub in east ayton (best pub i have ever eaten in by far, fair prices on food and stella on tap!) 25.6 miles :slayer:

3 mile drive to scarborough for something to do afterwards:idea:

also i BET that if any one clears their plate at this pub i personaly will give you 5 british pounds for bein a good sport AND & f@ck)(y)

Sounds good, I know the roads up there a little bit especially the drive through the grounds from the A64 end(y). I pick up my latest Panda tomorrow so a little bit of work to do to get it an mot but hopefully it wont take alot to turn it around.
I will pick it up and take it straight to my friends garage so if all goes to plan:D I will be there!
