Hi folks! I'm mildly obsessed with by beautiful little 2012 500 convertible :) Was recently driving on the highway when an amber triangle-shaped light (with exclamation in the middle) came on. No mssg showed on the display, just the light. I brought it to a local garage who advised that the car wasn't giving any code. Anyone know what this light is for, and is it likely ok for me to continue driving it for now?

Thx for the help!

Aye.. When you start the car, it's supposed to flash a message on the screen to say what it is that it isn't happy with.

If it's not giving you any hints, then check the oil level, brake fluid level and coolant level... If those are good, that's good... but then check all the bulbs work (including the brake lights). It has to be something not too severe.

Sometimes when my 500 twinair is hot, and i stop and restart the engine in about 5 minutes, it misfires once or twice right after it starts, and this sets off that light.. but it doesnt log a code.. and keying off and on again makes it go away.. its a odd light i must say!

Car runs and performs fine so i have the misfire down to vapourlock somewhere in the stinking hot fuel rail after heat soak has made it even hotter (no fuel flowing while engine is keyed off) it only does it when HOT and during the summer.. so, pull off the motorway and key off then restart 2 minutes later situation..
