Hi All, New to this forum so Virtual drinks on me!

Recently picked up an old year 2000 Scudo to use for taking my bike to track days, but the side sliding doors do not seam to pull in at the top onto the seal hence a little bit wet.

Is there any way to adjust the guides to solve my issue?

many thanks Chris.

Hi,

I had same problem. Do you have the guide pin and receiver in place?

It's these I'm on about:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Peugeot-Expert-Dispatch-Scudo-Side-Sliding-Door-Guide-/320399832957?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4a9951777d

If you have both of these (the pin goes on the sliding door itself and the receiver goes in the pilliar between sliding door and driver door) then yes you can adjust the guide pin.

Just unscrew it (need a torx screwdriver) and slide it up or down and re-tighten. It takes trial & error to get it right and tbh mine aren't perfect but just settle for as good as can get!

Hope that helps.

If the backs of the door are proud of the body as well you could try adjusting the lock striker too, its on the rear door pillar and secured by two torx screws..lossen until you can move the plate, then move plate in until you get the door flush or as close as without heavy slamming. This will also bring in the top front as well. Last resort is carefully bending the top arm (do not break it, its cast metal), or physically bending the top of the door in (very carefully)

BTW there is another thing you may like to try first, the top runner arm is secured to the door by three torx screws under a plastic cowling. take this plastic off, loosen the screws till it just can be moved, then get someone outside to push on the top of the door while you tighten back the screws...might be all it needs!

had issues with the pin hitting the frame towards the rear rather than going into the hole. It was letting in rain and a draft at anything approaching 30mph.
I took the pin off and put it on the other way so the slight shaped edge could guide it in and allow a proper close.
Also moved the locking latch in to it's closer end at the back of that door way.
It seems to close nice and tight with the right push from the outside. I'll post back here after I've used it a few times, as to if it is a lasting solution.
