Hi.
My main question :
- I have a CV axl, passenger side, on a Fiat Scudo 2013. This is a long cv axl, on the drive side its short. So, when i look on videos on yout when people diassemble this, long cv axl, the tripod side just pops nice and easy out of its "house". But on my cv axl, its stuck. Is there any way to diassemble this tripod, is it even possible to take this out , so I can clean it and lubricate, etc ?
I have already removed the wheel side on the cv axl (the joint) , but I wush i could also get the other side (the tripod) out also. Maybe its not possible on this type of CV axl ?
And question 2, if someone knows
- I didnt come out any gear oil, when I removed the axl from the gearbox, shouldnt it? Or is that only something that happens on the driver side ?
And finally, my last question, because Im a little dumb amature
- If you look at the pictures, it was very thight and small place to pull out the axl, that iron part thing was in the way. In tip on how to make this easier when Im ready to put it back in to the gearbox ?
