i agree with 'fiat people' 17" + young lad = dead gearbox
the big wheels lenghten the final gear ratio, greatly increasing the forces acting on the differential and gearbox internals.
Not to mention making a very slow car alot slower :nerner:
surely if the rolling circumference of the wheels are the same as standard it shouldnt make any difference??
well if it does im up sheep creek without a paddle on 18's...
I was on 195X65X15 alloys and now on 225X40x18 alloys
yeah, the rolling radius is the same cos of the low pro's
they're just wider, not really heavier either
