General Xenon ballast near ECU

Hi,
I have Stilo 3 doors, and I decided to put xenon in it. As you know, you have two ballasts for xenon lights and you have to put them somewhere in engine area. I have put one near water container for windscreen wipers, but second ballast is attached to the plastic cover of a battery. So ballast is about 20 cm from ECU. My question is: Can I have some problems with ECU because of that?

simple answer..... no.

as far as im aware they dont affect any other electrical systems in any way... ;-)

Balasts get very hot. Be careful not to melt the washerbottle and the batterycover. I'd choose a metal surface in a place where they get plenty cooling.
