Hi folks

Wondering if anyone's had an issue with the throttle pedal before?

My 3.0 180 Euro 5 2012
Has had hesitation (like an on and off fuel starvation) when driving on steady throttle I.E holding at a steady speed.

Had it in at fiat/iveco truck garage and also multiecuscan no errors showing

They think it could be pedal electronics starting to give up but can't be certain

Reason for this possible diagnosis is when under acceleration she runs fine, also when on cruise, she also runs fine,

Just wondering if anyone's had similar and a new pedal fixed it?

Cheers

Neil

No hesitation whilst on cruise, all points to pedal, as it's the only thing out of use whilst cruise is in use, just an expensive fault find (part purchase) so just putting the question out on here first mate,

throttle pots do cause problems no mater what the make some of the problems are as you describe try cleaning the connector and potentiometer and check the resistance moves in a smooth arc its not easy but is doable im seen dirty ecu connectors at the ecu do the same thing but because the cruise works as described id be cleaning and checking the throttle pot first Cheers Adam
