Punto (Mk2/2b) X Reg Green Punto Daily

Introduction

Right i bought my punto last year in october, it had a smashed bonnet a broken flexi a rotten wing and a leaking windscreen. The exhaust is sorted, after realizing that the baffles are gone inside the back box i quickly reused a sport back box from a 307 peugeot. An orange bonnet had been sourced later on for 10 quid, then some alfa romeo alloys that need painting. Long story short i show you some pics:

The speedlines are whacked on the car but i need to do some modifications because they are much wider then the standard steelies so it's touching other components. It looks good i'm happy with them.

Hint's ;)
Spray bumpers same colour as car,
then spray roof.. white,. id use white gloss.. (domestic white gloss) used for appliances, ;)

photo shop it & see :D

actually quite like those alloys..different to the 'usual suspects' of alloys that get fitted..:D
Got to get mine prepped, rear 2 are fine, but front 2 look like they've been to hell and back, think previous owner parked by touch!!!!

You've done well with those old wheels(y), I agree with Oldhammer the bumpers could do with being the same colour to tie things in a bit more, but at the end of the day it's your project, budget etc, if your happy with things looking as they are then fair play to you ...;)
Thanks! Well budget wise i have a certain amount that i spend on my cars weekly so i'll see what will fit in there. Got a mk2 Clio and a 89' Vauxhall Nova that's being restored, the clio just going to have a new bonnet.

I love them, i remember in what state i got them but i could still see the potential in them. What alloys are you fitting?

They're already fitted..5 spokes..theres a pic (or should be ) on my profile..thinking of doing them white...don't like black alloys - they just look dirty LOL

I find the 185 is better is summer but worse it wet
So i swap to steelie 165 when its wetter as narrow wheels cut into the water a lil bit better

Ziggy

True dat Ziggy probably you're right i mean i didn't drove them in wet yet but i was thinking the same thing. I'm going to paint the steelies later on for bad weather but it's a top secret colour.;)
