So in brief, drunk driver ran into me. This is the damage. I am so fkn pissed off because I have searched for over two years for this exact model with the sliding roof and multijet engine. Insult to injury, I have spend over 1200€ about two weeks ago to sort out faulty injectors. What is the opinion? I think it's dead.

That chassis leg certainly looks crooked, so it’s safe to say some transfer of energy over to other side and a-post…so very definitely
Thanks for the insight, I also think that will be the bullet to the head, have tried to look underneath, but will only be able to see with professional jig measurements

No question it beyond economical repair

I don't know what the options are insurance wise in France

Here in the UK it's normally better just to start again. But it will be even harder to find a sliding roof multijet

If seen the prices on the UK market, it's quite low compared to here in France. For example, I saw a 2011 model like mine with the sliding roof and multijet engine at an eye-watering €8900 this afternoon with a 120 000km on the clock. I was very lucky to have bought mine from the original owner with FSH from the agents for €4600.

aside from the damage to the wheel and suspension I have quite literally seen worse on the roads in france. I once sat parked in an Auchan when a woman in a Mercedes R class pulled in to the parking space in front of me with most of the front of the car missing, except for one headlight and part of the bumper on the passenger side (LHD obviously)

However if looking to claim off your insurance and you don't fancy drawing the attention of the Gendarmerie, by driving it around in that state, then I think it is fare to say that it is likely to be a right off even with the higher prices cars carry in Europe compared to the UK.

What's rare here in the UK is not so rare when you have most of Europe to pick from so you might find a similar car for reasonable money, just depends where you are and how far you want to travel.

As long as you are ok and unscathed then the car did its job and died an honorable death.
