So, Multi passed her MOT last Friday, with just the one advise, (the perennial oil leak! that all Fiat's seem to have, but it's so small, that it's hard to even notice though!)
And, lo and behold, this morning, the dreaded 'no heater fan and temp display' problem showed itself!!
Searched the site, found the 'post' and sure as hell, it was that multi plug in centre floor console.

Earthing wire (the black one) had melted part of the multiplug, and shorted out the earth.
Now repaired, all neatly crimped back together, (no more multiplug!!) and safely taped as well. (there were 2 'spare' wires as mentioned )
30 mins work, (most spent trying to figure how to split the darn plug !!) 7 crimps and some electricians tape, job's a goodun, and all working as it should!!
This is the 3rd year multi gone straight through, minor advises only. (mind you, does get regular checking and servicing where needed)
