Is it not just easier to look at the location for members? if someone is happy to divulge their location they will put it there, surely?

Exactly, Sie, but some people want to have this as a central database!
I am still not sure of the actual use of this database, tbh - if there is a regional meet, people will go whatever. And not everyone wants to go in a convoy

I don't have a problem with giving my full address to anyone. If anyone is sad enough to come to Gillingham, DORSET looking for me, they aren't gonna be that scarey.
