eyy ppl i wanted some advise.. i have a fiat bravo black ink colour.. as my mate is selling a met black bonnet.. i was wondering if a car which is black ink.. would a met black bonnet suit the car? will it give it a bit of a sporty look? as iv seen a few cars have a black bonnet which makes it a bit sporty type? as my bonnet is kind of dented i thought i need a change and my mate just rang saying his got a met black one?. thanks
 
imo it makes you look like you had a crash and couldn't afford a proper repair.

Yep, I'm afraid I agree. This black bonnet look just screams "accident damage and I'm poor". Not a good look.

Oi! :) Scratchy looked good with a black bonnet, even with the marea grille, and it was my idea to spray it, it was satin black, kinda matched the wheels i thought,

Sorry Rob but no. We just humoured you for a while. Scratchy did not look good with a black bonnet and it did just look like you couldn't afford a respray.

Not wishing to deliberately jump on the band wagon but black bonnets on anything else other than a black car looks pap.

Looks like you've had a smash and are awaiting a bodyshop to spray it.
