Technical Would a mk3 speedo console fit a mk2 punto?

Need to replace my speedo, would a mk3 one work, since I think it uses the same connector

iirc the speedo would work but the electronic display wont.

Try it then, you never know. It was only something i read, ive not done it myself.

the mk2 speedo trip buttons are on the side, on the mk2b they are on the stork.
even if you get one from another mk2 it will still need proxy aline at fiat to stop it flashing
