Worried About My Punto ELX

Hope this isnt to much of a girlie question,but i come across this forum,after searching Google..
hope some one can enlighten me,with my queeries,i have a 2000 model punto elx,with 23 k on the clock,i am 2nd owner,and have owned the car for 1 year.well i heard a strange gurgling noise coming from around the heater/air con place,and took it back to the gargage and they said after doing some tests,it was head gasket,so i let them fix it under warranty,picked it up after 3 weeks,and it hardly got used,till today was stuck in traffic for ages,and caught this warning light come on then off again,it was a orange upside down light bulb,and ive never seen it before,now i,m worried,the temp guage is at half way,and i,m wondering what this warning light means??could it be related to head gasket,or am i worrying for nothing,i want to arm myself with information,for my return to the garage.is it normal for head gasket to go on punto with 23,000 miles,surely it should of lasted longer.

Hey, you'll probably find more information in the punto section. it shouldn't be the head gasket if you've had that sorted though, although, i wouldn't have said it was normal to go at that milage, my cinq didn't die until 60k oddB)

do you no what the warning light that looks like a upside down lightbulb is,ive been looking in manual,and dont see anything resembling it lol

headgaskets do go early on cars that have had a coolent change seems most dealers and garages dont have a clue how to refill system properly

Fraid i don't know[xx(] it might be that, coz the only thing i can think of that would look like an upside down lightbulb would be a thermometer. so it could be the thermostat, but i've never seen a light like that in my cinqi so i can't be sure
Does it come on all the time?

this is also being discused in the punto section, aparently the warning light is to say a headlamp/tail lamp have gone, mk1s dont have this
