p.s jug we should start a business with my good looks and intelligence and your ability to lure small children in to the back of vans then there is no way we can fail.
no way we can fail to do what exactly

that kind of business can only flourish in foreign countries like tailand or russia or bradford.

i havent thought that far ahead.

i did have a few ideas that i am about 90% could make me millions. Its all about the internet these days barely have to move from a desk to make stupid amounts of money.

well apparently we are swapping over next week but i still havent been told whats happening:ROFLMAO:

after a bit of thinknig i have come to the decision that i do not really want to work for the new company as they clearly dont want me and i can see them making my life hell or making me redundant.

hopefully ahving a talk at some point today and i heard rumours of another job going at my current work place.

i have been reading up on this TUPE thing and it seems both companies arent doing this the legal way!

my colleague just had a meeting and got told we swap over at the end of this month. Then she went umm no i dont remember singing anything.

then she got told she was getting reviewed for redundancy. hang on a minute i am getting reviewed for a job i dont even have or know what it is?

we only know the company name and that is it.

f*cking joke. I've spent the day deleting useful files at work:)

i count myself as lucky.

I was offered volountary redundancy or find a new job by a date in the company and if i hadnt then compulsary redundancy.

I managed to secure a new job with who i work for thats due to start soon but involves a lot more travelling, but have managed to survive so far intact. Some people i work with havent.

a mate of mine has been out of work since August and says its getting worse now as his apps arent even being replied to.

just had a call about yesterday's interview. i didnt get it but i came second. they said my answer wasnt good enough when asked about social care, and i didnt define a "system admin" role well enough. that's fair enough, i dont have a clue about social care and i thought they meant a network admin. they did say my presentation was excellent and they liked my personality and wanted to give me the job. this is the first time i've failed to get a job after having an interview. damn it.

same here, i have never been knocked back. Sounds like apart from misunderstanding a question, you have a good interview technique.

Would a bit of research helped with the social care bit?

sounds like if the other candidate declines (or goes missing :D ) you might be in with a chance

keep trying lad, you'll get something

got a meeting with the new company later.

i dont plan on working for them so the meeting will be filled with fun and ridicule.

Really do need a camera in the room to film it me thinks.

Last i spoke to them i get my current wage and all my time off the same as my current company so I'm gonna play that card (even though i have been told since i probably wont be getting this).

Keep a very careful note of everything they say and do.

If you don't like it you can go to tribunal.

Tribunal is not about the decision that they make, its whether they followed the proper procedure, or not.

Cheers

SPD

i could do them on so many things at tribunual!

just come out of meeting and i have one option which is to join them as a junior for £5,000 less than i currently earn:bang:

I am going to look at any other options and keep that as a backup.

as i will be starting from the bottom i could start from the bottom at anything rather than something i have been doing for 2 years.

my colleague just got told there isnt a role for her at the new company so it could be worse.
