Found one at last, 98 R reg 1.8 HLX, black, 67k, just had cambelt done and service prior, Pioneer MP3/12 cd changer, guy agreed to £2150. Is that a good deal? Just got to get the AA man to inspect it, get it HPi'd, then off to give him a wad of notes

Thats a fair price.

Not cheap considering the mileage but fair.

Condition is very good, all the electrics work (most unusual), comes with red+blue keys, drives nicely, oh and it's a lovely black Couple of minor stone chips, and a slight crack on the one light, but aside from that it is a lovely looking motor. Just got to arrange me AA inspection, then it shall be mine

Rear wash/wipe works cos it was fixed a month ago No sign of leaks, but guess I won't know till it really pisses down - it had been raining when I went to look at it, and whilst the outside of the car was wet, the inside seemed dry enough. I'm used to leaky Fiat's, my Tipo has a recurrent passenger footwell leak which is due to a build-up of leaves which causes water to spill thru the air intake to the blower

Good choice lol i bought a 1.8 HLX about a week ago now still smiling ear to ear always wanted a bravo now i enjoy driving around alot more not too mention its sooo much faster than my Vauxhall Astra so i like to put my foot down lol

Only thing i would say is re check the bodywork when the car is dry. Rain can make bad paintwork and dents etc almost invisible.
