iv finally managed to solve the engine problem.
at first i thought it was the tdc sensor (revving to 4k) so, with pete being the kind hearted person that he is, sent me one.
fitted this and it ran a little better (revving to 5k) ....
...still not 100% though.
so after further inspection noticed that the timing sprocket was dented.
i tried to bend it back into shape (revving to 5.5k) this made a slight improvement.
anyway so thinking that the problem was still the sprocket fitted another today not bent dented or buckled.
and wooo hooo it hits the limiter at about 7k give or take
only thing wrong now is its hesitation to pull away from standstill.
everything else is being fixed tomorrow wooo hooo ;-)
