Technical new cd player, need help hooking it up

cant find a converter that i need for this. its a 01 sei

trying to hook up to Sendai CD789 from halfords

Is that on the car loom or attached to the back of the new stereo?

Doesn't look familiar, but I assume some sort of ISO adaptor harness is required. Have a look on ebay.

is there any way to get deeper into the dash to check out the wiring like behind the fan controls?

Sure but there's no reason to do that, ISO harnesses cost pennies.

In fact, I've just had a look on ebay and even that doesn't make a lot of sense. That connector looks like steering controls or something. Do you have something that looks like this?

It's been a while but from what I remember it was just that double ISO connector and the aerial that needed to be connected.

just check again and it was rewired just to my old stereo. so looks like i need to wire up a iso.

is it easy as just matching up the colours?
