Wont turnover HELP!

Changed the plugs sunday, checked to make sure the car still started. Started first time no problems. Went to go shopping today and car wont turnover. Tried putting old plugs back in still wont start. Fuels pumping ok coz i can smell the petrol and hear it. Any ideas?
