3ltr engine will not start. Symptoms like fuel starvation. Any ideas
Whats ur dashboard saying warning lights etc- immobilizer issue?

Have you had a look under the hood -everything in place?

Fuel system issue- when was the last service if its a Ducato these can cause problems sometimes

Electrical/battery systems - what condition are they in?

If you have a plug-in diagnostic tool this could help you to identify the issue (cost £12)

Thanks to all who added comments. Vehicle was running fine. Then for no apparent reason next time wanting to use, it started OK,moved off drive then engine died. Symptoms as no fuel. Had fuel filter changed. Bit reluctant to start following but once running drove OK once more. Till again same problem engine died, symptom as though no fuel.

Possibly faulty injector with excessive leakoff. This could hold rail pressure down below threshold at cranking speed. Once started with higher rpm, hp fuel pump will be more able to cope. Suggestion can be proved/disproved by performing a leakoff test.
