I've just picked up a mk1 punto with wolfrace 15" alloys... but no key for the wheels. Anyone else have similar wheels, how can I get the middle part off to get at the nuts :)D )

I've had a look on the wolfrace site but doesn't seem to say anything about it

Any ideas?

Depends on if you want the removal for a thief in the future to be easier.

Hes what i do with locked locking caps. Drill two small holes around a 5 mm hole one each side of the center. and get some needle nose pliers and insert them into the holes. you should then be able to remove them. and they will look okay if your neat. if this does not work then try a reverse slide hammer or a locksmith. both work well but you might not be able to screw them back in when there finished

for locking wheel nuts you can get reverse threaded wheelnut removers which have a thread inside and a heavy duty 1/2 inch socket connection. these are very usefull for scrap yards.

eek, sounds drastic

I was hoping I might be able to get a replacement key from somewhere

If I manage to get it off was thinking about locking wheel nuts anyway

I just mean the lock bit two tiny holes big enough for some very small needle nose pliers to go into so you can turn the lock.

The same sort of holes you have to tighten up bike bearings

Apparantly... From Wolfrace...

"Thanks for the e-mail.

Most Wolfrace centre caps are screwed in with an Allen bolt, so you can
remove them with the correct size Allen key.
If this is not the case, you can purchase a cap puller from"

Gonna have a look tonight, pretty sure it doesn't\look like an allen bolt to me though....
