Hi,

I've a 1.2 Bravo. Want to change front wishbones. Looked at Buypartsby, and they don't list them for the 1.2

But, are they not the same as the 1.4 / 1.6 models ?

Thanks.

yes they are the same as anon said

advantage to changing them is the car drives a million times better with new wishbones on with fresh bushes

hmm, so as they are only cheap to buy , worthwhile job ? easy to fit ? and how different does it drive , feel better than when you get new shocks ?

Its failry cheap, iirc you can get a pair of wishbones for around £40.

Easy... can be a bit of a pita as you have to jack the car up as level as possible accross the front, undo the arb drop links, wishbone bolts to the subframe and also get the ball joints out... its a case of it could go really well, or it could go sodding nastily!

compared to shocks, yes it can feel as good, if you were to have done it at the same time as the shocks it would have been like driving a brand new car again, noticeably so over jsut a new shock set up alone

only the balljoint really wears out, so if they are fine, you wont need new wishbones...
Are they knocking or something?
