wishbones and ball joints

right guys how hard is it to change these as need new ball joints on front so just going to change whole wishbone as i dnt think u can buy ball joints seperate

heya chap,

I changed mine on my 2.4jtd weekend, wasn't too much of a hardship.

I undone the ball joint bolt, hit old wishbone down with a hammer to get the ball joint out, unbolted the 2x bushes (4 bolts) attached to the car and ripped her out

putting the new one in was easy but obviously tyring not to use the hammer too much on the new one.
I personally found this easier than trying to get the bottom ball joint in and out of the wishbone.
cost me about £30 per-side for the wishbones.

edit* i think i may have undone my dropink as to make it easier to move the strut back and forth too.

like darren says, its easy onl takes about 1 hour, use a ball joint splitter

i have just done mine on my bmw
