I need some input from the members who are a LOT more au-fair with on-line stuff than I am please. Yesterday I looked at the old site on the Forum entitled "New (again) to Forum"--from 12/06/2013. The basic discussion from Alain Mengoli concerns the use of the 30 DIC/DGF carbs on a 500. There were photos of the carbs, as well as a redirection to pictures of his car and the wish-bone front suspension he had made for his car. Today I went onto the same page--and all the re-directions have dissappeard--WHY? and how? I need to see the pictures of the suspension, so any assistance that can be given would be very, very much appreciated!

Tom, I think it's likely that Alain's photo-hosting service has expired. Shame..that would have been interesting. You could try messaging him or mention him Abarth 695 through the Forum if he's still active.

To mention him, type Abarth 595 and put an "@" directly in front of it.

Thank you for your input Peter--appreciated. I have (just) heard back from Alain who has acknowledged that the pictures have come 'off-line'---something to do with not wanting to pay for the pictures to be shown. He has therefore sent me (directly) some pictures of his car and the 'wish-bone' suspension. Sadly, for a variety of reasons the project has totally stalled and is therefor FOR SALE. If anybody is interested in finishing a bike-engined 500 project, feel free to contact me direct--I will pass on Alain's e-mail address and some pictures of the project.
