Technical Wiring diagram

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a wiring diagram for the outside temperature sensor. I'm trying to fnd details of what the senor inputs to other components, ecu, bcm etc.

An inspection of the x250 training manual suggests that the external temperature sensor connects to pins 2 & 3 of the 52 way BCM connector which is at the lower LHS when viewing the cab fuse panel. I would expect any onward communication to be via canbus.
As the sensor seems to be optional, perhaps it is only used for the instrument panel display and frost warning?
