Hi there am new here and only brought my Multipla 1.9 diesel yesterday.
Front and rear washers/wipers all worked fine as did the headlight washers but getting in the car today, none of these worked. I instantly thought fuse blown and checked book to find this circuit is fuse 15 with a 20amp, not blown. so decided to check every fuse and relay I could find and nothing obvious is wrong, maybe a bad earth but where do I find this/these?? Any suggestions you good dedicated owners can provide will be helpful as sort of scratching my head.
Many thanks in advance
Jeff

I take it this is not a common fault then, am still searching for the problem and when I find it will post the answer on here in case anyone else gets this problem.

Have you taken the connector off the washer pump and checked that power is getting through when the washers are activated?

Cheers for the help guys, I have managed to solve this mystery. It was a relay that hides above the pedals, two yellow 30a 12v ones, one is for heated rear window and one is for the cigarette lighter/wipers. I found this by accident as for some reason I pushed in the cigarette lighter and it didn't work but knew it worked before so I searched google for a relay or fuse for this and found out that these two fuses are hiding above pedals but have to pull back carpet a bit, I knew it had to be simple but only found the relay on top of the wiper motor to be related to these but was convinced that was only the intermittent relay. I was told by garage that there was an ecu for the wipers/washers and that was probably gone, glad I stuck with it and never booked it in.
Anyway hope this info helps someone else but I dont suppose its much of a fault as was hard to find info.
