hi need a front wiper motor for my marea weekend estate cant get one for this model been told a brava or bravo one will fit do u know if this is right cheers alex

Not sure on this one.. Eper gives different part numbers for Bravo and Marea wiper motors. Saying that it has different part numbers for rear wipers but the motor can be swapped between Marea/Bravo/Brava and even Mk1 Puntos!

Best idea is get one from a friendly scrapyard (oxymoron?) and try it. If it doesn't work take it back for a refund or credit note.

Hello Hellcat. I've become the latest victim of the wipers suddenly deciding not to stop on intermittent and when you return the stalk to the off position they just stop altogether.

When I click on your eper link above it just sayes page not found. I'm looking to just order a new wiper motor from the part number as I understand from other posts on the forum this contains the relay circuit that will have developed the fault.

Guys,

Did you order?

'tis a pretty simple job to resuscitate the motor (if not burnt).

i just picked 1 up off a marea but it came off a bravo the guy who i had it off said the bravo motors are compatible ie the same as marea's i'll fit mine tomoz..

ps i know this an old thread but i wanted new peeps to get the good news..

Bravo, Brava, Punto, Marea...

In this pic you can see the blackened burnt out marea motor, and the new looking punto one. If you look on the shaft you can see where the water has got in and seized up the bush.
