The passenger wiper blade has stopped working.

Seems to me that the linkage between it and the drivers side is shot, but5 how on earth do I get to it?

I thought that it was just a case of removing the M8 nut from the pivot points so the plastic tray can be removed - but the wiper arms dont want to budge.

Do I just pull them? Is it a case of brute force and ignorance?

I could do with some help here, as it is not clever to drive with only one wiper.

Ta for your time...and hopefully some answers!!

Paul.

From the haynes manual...

There is a wiper arm spindle nut cover, which you need to prise out, then undo the nut...

Then ease the wiper blade off using a rocking action...

Yep, I got that far, but the wiper arm won't budge.

I have giving it a generous dose of WD40 but its still solid. There is nowhere to lever against other than the bonnet or the plastic panel, both of which are no-nos.
To get the tray off to find out what the problem is I have to remove both blades.

So what now?
