So I found on Saturday that my windscreen wiper motor has given up and needs to be replaced.

Anyone know if this is an easy job to do and how much they go for?

front..?

should be bolted onto a carrier support frame,
unclip the 1 linkage arm - unbolt the motor.. should be that simple.. BUT you'll probably be better off removing the whole lot from the screen area / scuttle,
here a mk2 guide;

Yep, Front.

Cheers mate. Any idea how much they cost roughly?

It's much easier to replace the complete unit, trust me. I exchanged it with a unit from an Ypsilon. Exactly the same motor, but mounted upside down, so I had to take everything appart.

It is very hard to adjust the mechanism exactly in line after that. :mad::mad::mad:
