General Winter Tyres Fitted

Hi All

Fitted some winter tyres to my Qubo. Avon Ice Touring on 15" alloys. Massive improvement I am very impressed, will run winter tyres every year I am now converted totally.

I put some on the Idea a couple of weeks ago but only tried them on snow today.

Amazing difference as you say, especially if the same improvement is made in cold weather braking.

It will now be my third year running winter tyres on my Qubo, and they sure do make a difference. I live in a rural location and have more than once had to weave my way through stuck cars. My mates who have 4x4 can't believe the difference they make.

I couldn't get into one place I work at in the snow, very long steep concrete drive, tried reversing up it also but no luck. My winter tyres arrived the next day, fitted them and drove in no problemo.

At the moment I am using Avon Ice Touring, no doubt there are better makes, but I have had no issues with them.
