General Wing Mirror Problems

Happy New Year

Can anyone help with folding wing-mirror problems.

Ulysse 2.2 JTD Eleganza has automatic folding wing-mirrors which fold in and out when car switched on/off and/or locked with remote - Except now they don't do anything!!

Checked car manual but cant find anything. Is there a fuse that controls the mirrors that may have blown?

Thanks for that. It's ages since i've posted anything on the forum and I appreciate your quick reply, but where do I locate the hints & tips page!! I can't see it for looking - I know it's age related!! Thanks. :bang:

To set the mirrors to fold automatically, do the following:

1. Move the slider for the mirror adjustment selection to its middle position.
2. Pull the slider back and hold it in this position for about 30 sec.

This will either switch it on or off depending on what setting was already active.

To do the windows.

1. Turn off the car, ignition in first position (battery light off)
2. Open the window from the inside
3. Keep the window switch 'pulled' while switching on the ignition (battery light on)
4. Close the window from the inside
5. Keep the window switch 'pushed' while switching off the ignition (battery light off)

Repeat that procedure for all windows that you intend to open with a double-press on the remotes' open button.

having suffered the mirrors not working problem on a peugot 807 and finding no help in their forums, someone told me that the ulysse and the 807 are very similar in design, so we tried your fix for the mirrors and it worked. many many thanks ..
