Technical Windscreen Wipers Fuse Keeps Blowing. Please Help!!!

Hi there, thanks for looking.

I have a 2001 Fiat Brava.
I was driving along quite happily yesterday and my windscreen wipers just stopped working. Front and back, I was getting nothing from the stalk! I located the fuse and replaced it and it worked fine for about 10 minutes this morning on my way to work, I had to pull up to change the fuse again. The wipers don't seem to be sticking or struggling just the fuse that keeps blowing.

Can you suggest what it might be, and what I can do? It's pretty terrifying when you're driving along and you can't see.

Could be a wiring short or a problem with a wiring plug connector, but if it works for a while but eventually blows the fuse, I'd suspect the motor or wiper spindles need stripping cleaning & lubricating.
