Pump is working but it isn't getting out of the hoses (thought it could be blocked nozzles but taking them off doesn't make any difference, water still isn't getting through). Water isn't getting to the front or the back, is it possible there is a blockage in both lines? Any ideas on what to try?

asuming that there is water in the bottle and that there are not any dead leaves etc. floating round blocking the pump pick up.
There is a valve in the water line it stops water draining back to the reservoir. is located under the windscreen scuttle piece. This is likely to be faulty or bocked. ;)

Unless the pipes have become crushed between the wipers and the reservoir.

I had that. The pipes had perished/split going through the hole in the scuttle plate. The pump was pumping but the water was going down the inside of the plate. Check that. you should find enough slack in the pipes to chop off the perished end and refit it.

Alsoconsider the filter in the washer bottle where the pump fits - this often gets clogged up and can stop the water leaving the washer bottle properly.

If you remove the pump be carefull, removing the hoses from the pump can cause the exits on the pump to snap as they get brittle with age.

Hi

I have a similare problem and will check the water pipes later tonight. I am getting water to my rear wiper so it must only be my front water pipe that is blocked. Does anyone have any idea how much this would cost to fix at a garage? I aint knowledgable about cars and dont want ripped off.

I have a 55 plate Punto if that makes any difference...

Thanks
Daniel.

I found one of the pipes had blocked and tryimng to unblock resulted in it cracking. In the end I replaced all the front pipework with silicone black piping from an aquatic supply centre.
