I'm having a small problem with the windscreen washers. When I push the lever to spray water onto the rear window, the front washers also spray some water onto the front window, although with a much smaller amount than if I pulled the lever to spray water on the front windscreen.

Has anyone had this before? Any suggestions?

I suggest checking that it is not just water leaking from the pipe. I had what I thought was a small leak at the front, which was in fact a large leak from a connector under the bonnet. There is a joint under the bonnet (on the right hand side as you look at it from the front of the car). This joint is not very good in its construction . Resealing it solved my problem.

Mine used to do this once in a while, I just used to use the front after so no issues :)

Will check it tomorrow, thanks for the suggestion.
Most Easterly Pandas, I've actually been ignoring it for quite some time, but now it sprays much more water on the front windscreen than when the issue first showed so I thought I'd look into it.

I checked the underside of the bonnet and checked for any leak in general but couldn't find anything. I'm guessing I can find something if I find out where the pipes leading to the front and rear washers originate , but the area near the reservoir is extremely tight. Do I need to lift the front of the car for this?
