Windows 8

Windows 8

What makes me laugh is the amount of butthurt going on in the Microsoft forums. MS fanboys trying to stick up for MS and the reasons behind their ill fated Windows 8 decisions.

The whole OS is a mess, I'm skipping Windows 8 I think and keeping my Windows 7 Ultimate License with a death grip! Unfortunately Windows 7 is the best MS OS (arguably the best OS) and if Windows 8 is the future it will probably remain that way!

If I wanted to use a Tablet OS with a touch screen I'd buy a f***ing tablet!!!!

:yeahthat:

I tried it and I don't mind it too much but I do this it should be tablets only.

Although customers are wanting to upgrade to it. :S

It's widely held that every other MS release is total carp (rather than just plain carp).

So, XP was OK, Vista was bad, 7 was OK, 8 should be pants...

And obviously not as open as some people (want to) believe. [There's a joke in here, somewhere about 'walled gardens' and 'gates', I'm sure....] ;)

I make the same amount of money regardless so I couldn't care less. I'd rather do work I enjoy that has some benefit. I wouldn't mind so much if they gave me the funding to install SCCM!

Have you checked out PDQ Deploy? Its what I have resorted to after I couldn't get funding for SCCM and LanDesk is just plain terrible.

Now that Windows 8 is almost out I've started planning the upgrade from XP to Win 7 at work (y)
