Styling Window Tints - Pic Request

Alright chaps,

Looking at getting the side and rear windows tinted on my T-Jet.

I'm after pics with % tint that you've gone for so i can decide which way to go. Was thinking of going for ~20%...

It wouldnt be 85% on the rear, it works on light transmission. Would probably be a 5% or 20%

I have an 85% tint on the rear. IE blocks out 85% of light and a 40% tint on the front.

You guys been pulled over yet? or get pulled over much?
I was going tint the fronts on my last car when I was planning on having the rears done but as anything over 15% or something like that is illegal and the manufacturer tints the windows slightly as standard there would be no point.

Any tint on the front is illegal as they are tinted to the maximum from the factory. Ive been pulled for other stuff and they said nothing about the tints.

Probually dont realise because everything on your car is black lol

I think the way they look at it is if they can still see your face and your not doing anything wrong then they will leave it but if they see you doing something wrong then they can use the tints as an excuse to pull you. Still, its only £40-50 to get the fronts re tinted if i get told to take them off

its probally best to make sure your windows are dropped around cops so they cant see them as i was stopped on a sting op a few years back,, cops were working with the DOT or some other agency testing fronts on alot of cars in a popular country park in strathclyde,, was given 7 days to remove them,, the worst cars were not alowed to drive away with them on,, pealing at the side of the road, lol,

I only had a light tint but looked worse with the black leather interior,, damn,, 150 miles from home too,,

No if you drive around with your windows down around coppers you might aswell put a big flashing sign on top of your car saying LOOK LOOK IVE GOT ILLEGAL TINTS

The rear looks the same tint as mine too light imo but the front is nice

60% all around, never been pulled , but i drive like a pensioner cas i cant afford diesel....... if anyones interested my little boy says he doesnt get sun in his eyes in the back, which is my sales pitch mr plod.

i did not wanted to get that dark look more something more luxury looking.
because the car is black very black windows would not look that great! Maybe if the car was in white, red, orange or red a darker tint would be awesome! but that's just mine humble opinion!
