Hello all,
I'm in the process of adding a UK spec. Biposto shifter and lower carbon dash to a US Spec. North American Fiat 500 Abarth.
The Biposto kit uses the older S3 switch gear out of a Fiat 500 for the UK. and I'm trying to determine what wire on the switch does what? I think the easiest thing would be to decode an S3 switch, or the window wiring out of a UK based S4. The prior owner had the switches hooked to an UK S4 car, and prior to sending them to me, he labeled each wire with the color coding of his car. Unfortunately none of the color codes match the US spec car, or anything I've been sent for a UK spec Fiat 500? I've also pulled Ebay images from UK based Fiat 500 switches, and the color of the wires seem to match what the seller had labeled, but not what would make since with typical color coding on 12V systems??
Any help would be appreciated!
If I can determine what each color is for on the S3 switch, I think I can get it back together...
Thanks so much!
Brian
