I’ve bought a rear passenger door glass panel and have given a go at fitting it this evening. I’ve removed the door rubber, Lower guide plastics so the window frame is bare.

I’ve been at it for around 2 hours shuffling, moving, jigging and all to no avail, I’ve given up for this evening and concluded it’d be easier to split the atom than fit the ruddy window.

Has any ever fitted a passenger window 2014+ to a panda and had any success without calling an expert?

Any photos, diagrams or YouTube guides would be very very much appreciated!

(There probably will be a number of other questions in relation to this as the front windows have been bricked too and it’s my new project car so apologies in advance)

I’ve not done this on a Fiat Panda but I have done it on a Volvo which was generally a pig to work on. Have you removed the door plastic fascia so you can access the winding mechanism? You will need access to this to enable you to get the glass into the bracket at the top of the mechanism. Usually fixed with some torx screws and you have to be quite careful that it grips but you don’t over tighten and shatter the glass. They are generally very fiddly jobs. I always recommend an extendable magnet as well for the inevitable moment you drop one of the screws inside a part of the door you can’t get your hand into.
