Guys , many thanks for the selection of products put forward by all you lovly people(y)in a geeza-type-of-way i'd like to give you all a group hug.

maddogmorg - last time i tried that the dogs nose started bleeding and stained the seats! think i was pushing its head to hard tho......
ziggy122 - iv tried not breathing in the car but i failed badly kos i started breathing when i was unconcious - sorry to let you down , thanks for the fog x idea tho - (y)

I've used that Halfords stuff (in a kind of cone-shaped blue/grey bottle???) and I thought it was really good. Wiped on and off with kitchen roll with no smears. I think a lot of the results depend on application.

In the past have used AG and Wonder Wheels stuff with decent results.

Try AG Fast Glass....much better imo than their glass polish. I've used it no end on both cars, and it even removed the sticky residue from the dealer sticker with ease. Also keep a pack of those screenies interior window wipes in your glove box, you'd be surprised how much dirt they take off.

in one of my old cars that i drive, i purchased a bag full of moisture sucking crystals:D....i cant remember where i got it from:confused: works 100%
lot of moisture in the old shed:D its a yellow felt bag, when the crystals turn dark brown its time to stick it in the oven on low for a recharge:)
i saw this advertised in a car mag some time ago....maybe someone else can point you in the right direction if you want one;)...I'm a sceptical old git:devil: ,but these things work a treat(y)

soap also helps glass from fogging, just be careful to keep it from smearing i tryed it out on the bathroom mirror the t'other day as i remember reading it somewhere, works a treat, just a very slight covering so you can't see it. no fogging up at all, even after a shower, and being breathed on.

:yeahthat:very small about of washing up liquid on a clean cloth. Use it on bike visors (y)

;)Thanks for all the helpfull replies and also the not-so -helpfull ones but i got rain-x with anti-fog from Halfords , 25 wipes in a tub for £4.99 ,tad pricey me thinks but worth every penny tho,i went over each window twice just to make sure-makes heck of a difference.
