General wind noise from drivers door

been out in 500 done 500 +miles now and noticed a wind noise from top of drivers door all rubbers are ok and cant see what is causing this noise
dont want to bend top of door as it may break paint any ideas or is it back to dealer for this

Every single 500 I have driven has had this noise. Only really notice it from around 50 mph and above?

i bought a new fiat panda in 2007,it always had a wind noise/whistle which i thought was coming from the front passenger door,i tried putting masking tape over the door gap to try and locate the whistle but could not find it.then one day when washing the car i noticed the passenger side windscreen wiper was in a slightly higher position than the other,so i undid the fixing nut and moved the arm on its spline.and this totally eliminated the whistle.hope this might help.

Both my F reg Panda and my V reg Seicento had this problem too! Looks like i'll be getting it back in the 500 too! LOL.

I think you will get this in most cars I have a mk v golf and my drivers door does it on and off. Sometimes it's quite loud and other times you don't notice it. When I drive lindas 500 I do listen for this and I have to say it's really quite quiet, when the speed rises you can hear it a bit but nothing to shout about

the noise is right in the top outer edge of the door may have to give it a tweek to rectify i got a few vehicles and its only happening on this one
pass side is quiet as said before ,if that fails ill turn up the music
or stick some expanding foam in it fill every other gap

Before you try to tweak the door I have found that gently tapping the metal part that the rubber door seal sits on outwards makes the seal fit tighter against the door frame. Might be worth a try first.

Yea, cos they don't get upto a fast enough speed to make wind noise before they die

Only one of our 4 Panda's does it, and it would be my daily drive. I can even see day light out of it when the door is shut

Yeah! In fact I still see her driving round Winton - owned by some students now, amazed she's still going to be honest the way I drove it ... her name was Myrtle, assume she's been renamed now!
