Technical Will these tyres fit on standard Bravo 16" wheels?

Hi guys. So, standard 16" rim dimensions are:

7J x 16 ET 31
4 x 98
58.1

And the tyres you should put on them are: 205/55 R16.

I am thinking of putting above tires on the following rims, however:

7,5J x 16 ET 37
4 x 98
58.1

As you see, the parameters in red are not as per FIAT's standard for 16", but I have seen many 205/55 tires, put on 7,5J, so I think this is fine. Can you confirm?

I am also not sure about ET 37. I've read somewhere in the Forum here that ET between 30 and 40 is fine.

So will it be fine to put 205/55 R16 on 7,5J / ET37 and put everything on my Bravo? Thanks.

7.5 J + ET 37 shouldn´t do any harm. I think it would fit just fine if you
consider the ET changing from 31 to 37. The best way is to fit it in and
check, that it fits correctly and can move + perform with out any
problems.

Can't remember if that puts them 6mm further into the wheel arch or 6mm further out. If in they should be fitted with spacers as it will do some curious things with the steering. If further out then maybe they shouldn't be used.

I think it would fit just fine if you
consider the ET changing from 31 to 37.

What do you mean by that, what to consider? 37 either works on Bravo or not I just need that confirmed by someone who has used rims with ET 37...

205/55R16 are approved for 5.5R16 to 7R16 so you're really 0.5 inch too wide for that width of tyre.

Closest size is 225/50R16 which will from 6R16 to 7.5R16

I think I'd read that as 6.5J is ideal, 7.0J ( standard Bravo wheels ) is fine, 7.5J is just acceptable, 8.0J is a no-no.
