Dave, if you go through the procedure then click at the top of the table screen "driver specific policy" it will give you the policies that cover the person rather than the car.

GEM comes out cheapest. Their cheapest one is "pay and reclaim" though, i.e. you pay the fees and recover them afterwards, I don't like that at all.

Their proper one which is better than AA Option 200, 300 and as good as 400 (it seems...) is £55.50. AAs 200 is £78, 300 £113 and 400 £141.

Can't see that being beaten....

aa covers you even if your the pasenger, so if a mate brakes down you get another mate to take you to thier car, then ring aa an get mates car home, mate gives you £20 (y) oh and when i have used them they arive in less than an hour and know exackly where you are from phone signal, no waiting for them while the are lost they got sat nav :)

I've used that trick before when a mate of mine was only 1/2 hr ahead of me going home from uni.

so you still get took to a garage first, could still endup with big bill
