There is a bolt under my throttle pedal, apart from limiting the pressure applied and ability to get max revs, is there a problem with the potentiometer being overloaded. Some may say there is a nut driving it but certainly limits top speed to around 60. is there a set length for the bolt to be below the pedal.

I assume it has a throttle cable?
The bolt should be adjusted so that when the arm on the top of the injection pump is pulled tight against the stop the pedal touches the bolt.
Stops you over stressing the cable!
