My sei has now develpoed the same creek my cinq did grrr! When i get in and out or wheneva i move in the car it creeks??? my cinq also developed the same thing! a very simular noise as to when u park ure car on a hill and u havent pulled the handbrake up far enough! any ideas guys?? Oh and by the way im tiny so it aint a weight problem lol!

Not sure what it is (I'd guess it's the springs), but I've known 5,000 mile cars do it. Doesn't seem to indicate anything wrong.

Try doing it on a flat surface without putting the handbrake on.

Just a thought: if the handbrake is on, then any movement in the car puts a small load on the cable which will be transmitted to the little springs on the end of the cable. If the springs move against their fixings, you're likely to get a creak.
Carry out rallycinq's test. If the noise goes away without the handbrake on, try a little smear of coppaslip (or even vaseline) on the ends of the springs.

What did you expect German build quality?
These cars are ment to have the odd noise..live with it or invest in extra loud speakers, that will help

if your having the same creak i have, i just went to change my rear shoes and found that the left handbrake cable end that pushes the shoes out had ceased. Not a good thing and funny how i didn't notice for a month lol. does it creak when your moving it slow from stopped? and when you get in? if it is then it could be the same as mine.
