Yesterday I had a fierce head on me. That's fine and I accept that. The new year festivities went long into the morning, but by dinner time yesterday I was fine and looking for a rasher sandwich.

Now in work today, just finished me coffee and my head is splitting again. :bang: What the hell? I've drank about 5 litres of water yesterday and had some good sleep. What's going on? Have I been given someone else's hangover?

In the absence of a pillow and a duvet, what will get me to 5:30 this evening?

I did the crime, I accept that. However, I feel the length of the sentence is excessive!

I drank about six million gallons of water yesterday to thereabouts.

Just went for some lunch and apparently wind and rain help. Headache gone and stomach better. Now I'm back downing the water!

water can only do so much you will be washing the salts and electrolytes out at the same time believe it or not too much water can kill

If I were you i'd be stocking up on the lemsips and stuff. You may well have picked up one of the cold viruses that are kicking about. If you feel no better tomorrow.......

I feel absolutely dreadful as well, I thought it was a extended hangover, but mines turning into a cold, I've totally lost my voice and can't stop coughing, tis not fun

oh it will come my boy

I have to agree there. Even as little as one year ago I was well able for these all night / weekend parties. One in particular, started drinking one Friday after work (about 6:00) drank til pub closed. Then back to the girlfriend's house and drank a rather large amount of gin. Then about 8:00 in the morning, still drinking, went to an "informal" staff meeting (retail). Trying to stand up wasn't so easy. Then straight back home for more drinking. Crashed about mid day and had a few beers again that night.

Now, I stay up until 4:30 on new years and I'm still whining at 5:00 on the 2nd. So Alex, what I'm trying to say is, drink sensibly... in a few years. For now, go nuts.

Man Flu? ;)

Only messing could be the start of a cold or the dreaded flu.
