General Who's got the biggest? (mileage)

Well I finally got the brakes to stop rubbing, so the grey cloud has lifted from my feelings towards my Croma. It's just got to 98k miles, it's completely paid for, has already justified the £6k we paid for it almost 5 years ago and is running well. So how many years of almost free motoring have we got to look forward to?

Who's got the biggest mileage? And have any Cromas actually worn out due to high mileage or do these engines just run for ever? I'm imagining four wheels and an engine trundling along happily, with a pile of rusty GM-branded parts left on the road behind.

So I'll start...

1.9D 16v: 98,000

230k km so that's about 143k miles. -07 1.9 JTD.

Just got error code P0482 so time to dig some info again...

Remember the taxi firm in Bristol that had 30 of them at one point? Some had over 200k miles on them in the end.

So the greasy bits are pretty robust. Just a shame about the effing electric bits.

My 1.9 16v has 172.000 km (107.200 miles), but I've seen one 1.9 16v with 430.000 km (268.750 miles), on a site where I keep my notes and fueling data. Funny thing is, that he has a low consumption also .. 6l/100km, it seems that he does alot of highway.
