just got back from wales today ,great holiday not so good weather,box and bars were good very good to be precise,the only thing i would say is anybody looking at the 115.00 deal from roofbox company is you need to drill a few more holes to make the box fit on the bars ,beleive me this came with some stress the day before my holiday mind you a quick phone call after some major staring at box and bars sorted out this little prob,however all good things come 2 an end came back to a letter from the police apparently a speed cam caught me doing 56 mph or do i mean 58 on a 50 mph dual carriage way ,i kid you not ,as far as ican work out they want to charge me 60 quid and put 3 points on my licence i mean who is the criminal here,anbody know if i might just get a caution or am i in the s**te here this is the first time this has ever happened to me,i caaannt beleive it[!][!]

It's called a speeding ticket, you get one for speeding, you're the criminal for speed....sorry, but it's true. Hope it stops you from speeding in the future.

3 points and £60 will hit your wallet but nothing else. You were only 10% + 3 over, right on the edge of any action in most counties.

Depending on the police force you upset, you may be offered the opportunity to attend a workshop on how to be a good boy when driving a car - a few people I work with have been given this as an option and it takes the place of the penalty points (i.e. keeps licence clean) but you still have to pay £60 to the police chrismas party fund.

As Paul says, you were borderline as the official guideline issued to all police forces is not to take action unless your speed is greater than 10%+2 above the national limit.
