It's a while away yet so I can't commit but am interested. I am still suspisious of these rolling roads though, I have been told many horror stories. Does the car have to go on the RR in order to be remapped?

this place has excellent rep, staff on this forum and other's have worked very closely with them and found no shenanigans at all

i think it coz he dont want me there :(

not all his fault this time though, because no one had bothered to put the stanford thread up

Na, you rather go and subsidise Ferrari owners than coming to us.:p

Main reason for the time was to get Stilo owners away from meet at another rr meet.:D

@ wixy15 - We only do it on the rollers because we cayn evaluate the saituation much more accurately as we have metering equipment running at the same time and are able to reference it this way to the rpm in order to get the best results.

So if Stanford is on the Sunday then what is the problem with people coming to this then?

i will be at both...

i would have to drive all the way home and pick mrs dave up from work after rr first :(
lots of us go stanford the night before for dinner.
rest of you could just drive up m1 after rr then get to hotel we all staying at in rugby and make a good weekend of it, meal is at harvester right next door to hotel so no need to drive :)

Right i'm finally putting my name down to this one as i've checked the racing calender and i'm not away that weekend, also its just after pay day. The T-Jet is finally going to be mapped :p

Well i'll see what it gets at standard and see if its worth the map, if it running at 140 which another t-jet was then i'll leave it no point for only 5 bhp, but if its about 130 then i will. I'll wait and see on the day.

is a re map for a 1.2 8v mk2b punto worth it. On my RR in Feb i got 66bhp and that was with the ford focus induction kit on, would i see much improvement on that and deffinatly see/feel the difference?

I should thinks so. If you are not happy, we will put the original map back and you pay nothing.

if a re map for my car isnt that great is there any other simple mod i could do/ get like a bigger throttle body would that make much difference? or if i had a rempa and a bigger throttle body would i deffinatly notice it then?

Let me put it this way. I know the muppets on puntosports and some know it alls from another punto site (can't mention names as they are banned here and can't defend themselves) imply that these mods aren't worth it. But they are only number crunchers without any common sense.

You have got the Focus kit on and this does require a different map to perform best. With a different induction kit you would need again another re-map. The difference is clearly felt. Holw much you can gain depends entirely of how much you are willing to spend. But whatever you do each bhp will cost you more than the previous one. Althought when thrown enough money at it it will give you an outrageous performance increase, the question will be, whether you can't achieve the same sort of performance with a higher capacity engine.

I am happy to discuss this at the rr day with you or feel free to pm me.
