General ? which type of battery for plip

Hi

one plip has stopped working - checked handbook to see what type of batteries should be in it,
'replace batteries with others of the same type'.......
opened it up and found 2 x CR2016, 3 Volt lithium batteries
thought I'd check the other 1 x CR2032, 3 Volt lithium battery.

I'm hoping that one has the correct batteries in - can sum1 help me out please.

Either should be fine, as there both the same capacity (combined) and the 2x end up as the same width. I personally use the cr2016 x2. I got a wee supply of the energiser ones, as mines was chewing through the cheap ones double quick.
