which maf sensor

I have a mk1 hgt, it has a bosch maf sensor in there at the moment. ive seen similar looking one on ebay made by bosch.

what is the requirement, do they all have the same signal, is it just the electrical connection that needs to be right, is that standard??

also, how do you know if its damaged?

They are usually specific to the car. It will have a part number on it.

cheers Tom, i took it out a few weeks ago but didnt check for a number, all i remember is its bosch. il take it out again and check for number. are they expensive??

checked shop4parts, they only have one for the 1.9 jtd. thats £123 !!
